LOVE VERSES

A while ago,  I browsed my "40 days of LOVE manual" ... I found the verses sooooo beautiful. I want to share it with you. Spread the word, Spread the LOVE!

LOVE MATTERS MOST

*Jesus replied,"You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and Greatest commandment. A second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:37-39 NLT

LOVE IS FORGIVING

I got a text from a friend...

"Ritch? Sana nilagay m din sa post mo kung paano ka bibitaw sa kaligayahan mo kng sa bawat paggising mo, sya ang gusto mong makita.. at sa bawat araw, sya ang gusto mong makita at makasama hanggang matulog ka na? :("

I really don't know what to say. I can give a good advice on love but I myself doesn't know how to apply it in my own life. and it made me realize how hard it is to deal on your own, how harder it is to decide to give it all or to just give it all up... 

I learned from our 40 days of Love session, that you must do everything out of love. If it's not out of love, it's worthless. 

When you love, try to leave something for yourself.. atleast try. I did. but it ends up not having anything at all. you give your all. so next time, JUST TRY AGAIN. LOVING is also LEARNING.

ON PATIENTLY WAITING..

Between me and the sun, I was the first one to woke up and rise today.

I left Batangas at around 5:30 in the morning, to get in time for work.

I was hurrying to cross the street from our house to be able to catch the bus. I was lucky then, that it stopped.

But to my surprise, the bus was very crowded up to the front door. I have no choice but to still go and just stand up. Obviously, this day isn't favor of me. I wasn't able to sit when some of the passengers went down in Turbina.

"It's OK" I said in a quiet tone. I  need to convince myself that this moment is seldom happening to me, so I can put the situation on a lighter note.

Came SLEX.. Unexpectedly, the bus stopped. To my surprise, the tire suddenly burst. "Naflat po ang gulong natin, antay po tayo ng padating na bus para mag transfer."

WOA. I sarcastically smile and just left the bus to wait for another one.

This is really a test of patience. but when i look on the brighter side, I was only tired of standing but I made it on time for work. one of the lady in the bus said that I was nice to offer the seat to her when there is already available seat on my side. simple compliments mean a lot. A "good morning text" made my entire day.. knowing that someone cares. Simple thougths that made you feel good despite of the bad circumstances.

As we go along, we learn to wait. to patiently wait. If you do, you will be able to know the reason of waiting. You encounter moments that are greatly testing your patience. Calm down, relax, just go with it.. for all you know, the circumstance will fix itself. Don't worry too much, Life is also about waiting and understanding why you have to wait.

I can say that I still shine brighter than the sun today.

"Lord, teach me to be patient - with life, with people,and with myself. I sometimes try to hurry things along too much, and I push for answers before the time is right. Teach me to trust Your sense of timing rather than my own and to surrender my will to Your greater and wiser plan. Help me let life unfold slowly, like the small rosebud whose petals unravel bit by bit, and remind me that in hurrying the bloom along, I destroy the bud and much of the beauty therein. Instead, let me wait for all to unfold in its own time. Each moment and state of growth contains a loveliness. Teach me to slow down enough to appreciate life and all it holds. Amen."
